Ancient Dream
A downloadable game
Be sure to select at least 'medium' quality when launching the game, or the lighting will be incorrect. Will be fixing in future update.
Created in 3 days for Mini Jam, the theme was Ancient Egypt. I had so much fun creating this. Will be updating later this week with the final work I was not able to get done in time for the deadline.
I made all the props in Zbrush (pyramids, columns, ankh, arms, bracelet, etc etc Maya for some UV work.I did some texture work in Photoshop. Game was assembled in Unity. Visual Studio was used for code. Due to the shortness of time, I used a couple of environment textures and 2 effects prefabs from Unity's standard asset pack. In addition, to save time, I used the rigidBodyFristPersonController.cs script and the updaated DragRigidbody.cs script from standard assets. All other code done by me.
Amazing audio by Dmytro Nebesh!
For now, search the desert for the Golden Ankh to help you gain entrance to the Sphinx's tomb.
Once in the Tomb, find the 3 canopic jars to open the door to the underworld.
Once in the underworld, for now, you've basically reached the end.
The next update will have a more enemies and a proper goal / ending.
Will upload builds for various platforms soon. Enjoy!
SPOILERS/HINTS -
Take torch from the wall at the beginning of the tomb.
Hold left shift and use the ankh at the same time to push the block forward in the tomb, to gain access to the rest of the tomb.
Find the 3 jars in the tomb to unlock the door.
